I am so glad that you followed up the first post with an explanation on your Bonneville High hat. You're still in the circle of trust.

I can only wish that some day I can wear a pair of Simms waders and use a Ross reel at the same time...

Is there a Ross reel in any of the pics?
I noticed how you hid the Ross from view in the picture with the rainbow. But we all know it's there.

Had I had time to take my new Hardy reel to get the new line I have put on it before we left, the Ross would have been purely in a backup role.
Fixed it for you.

:)

I'm just jealous 'Nilla. You have all the cool gear.

I'm still using a home-made (st. croix blank?) rod (or the Bargain Cave Cabelas rod), with a really inexpensive piscifun reel (or an old Orvis reel that I hate). I have a couple cheap Albright reels too, and the old trusty Pflueger medalist reels....

Imagine the fish I could catch using top-of-the-line equipment like yours!
:ROFLMAO:

I'm pretty sure the only style Vanilla uses is a chironomid below an indicator.

no shame in bait fishing. I was dead drifting a dead minnow last week. I have to make up for inferior equipment somehow. 🤷‍♂️
