Hit the marsh today with a couple of friends. The mission was a limit of drake shovelers (the perfect limit!) Nothing brings out the smiles like a limit of "The Other Green Head"

A few teal also decided to join the party -

What a way to end the season!

No trophy to mount this year :( Couple of them were full color, etc - just got shot up too bad in the process. Gives me a reason to hunt again next season

Steven - that is a good question, and I'm happy to say I don't know the answer. If the ice has a little snow on it, you still have pretty good control. When it is just clear ice, you can idle and do ~30mph. Then you give it a little gas and a little rudder and try to keep straight and going in the direction you want to. I think the fastest I've had it going is ~50 or so running in from FB one year when the ice was nice and smooth.
