I know many of us have other hunts coming up first, but it's time to start thinking about our feathered friends.

Most taxidermists don't spend much time on their own stuff but I finally made time to get something of my own done.

That's awesome!! What would something like that cost?
Something like that is a very custom piece and the price would depend on a lot of things. Every taxidermist would probably have a different price for custom work like that. Personally I would say that you would be looking at an additional $300 - $500 on top of the cost of the birds themselves.

Again, there is a huge range in custom work. It is expensive, but it's also unique, and awesome!

This one will be in the Utah county fair this week in Spanish Fork. I would encourage all who are able to attend the fair and visit the taxidermy show in the building just north of the rodeo arena.
