It's the last day of my turkey hunt today and I actually had three shots. I think it's only the second tag of any species I've drawn and ate the tag in the last 12 years. It's been a blast and I've found birds in every canyon I've scouted and hunted. All was not lost though I found my first actual 6 point shed.

Yes in some places. Most the roads are closed though so you have to hike. I think the general hunt would be funner because of the access.

I'll let you know!! I have my eye on a herd to turkeys you can't access until memorial weekend. Been itching to shoot one for a couple years now. It's never that easy though...

If you know where they are it isn't hard. Finding them is 3/4's the battle. Even that is getting easier though. I found turkeys in every canyon I hiked into scouting and hunting in the last two weeks. I only hunted two and a half days. Scouted five days and called in birds almost every day out.
