UAC tonight

I'll be down at UAC tonight from hopefully around 3 or so until about six if any of you guys want to swing by and meet up, shoot a little or whatever. I'm going to have "Curveball" with me trying to get some things ironed out and I plan on buying a range pass for the year so that I can just go down and shoot after work or whenever all winter long. Anyway, just thought I'd throw that out there.... hopefully I'll run into some of the forum regulars there once in a while. 8)

Well, the shop was pretty dead last night. G, Per, Curly and another guy (didn't catch his name) were there working and shooting. I wound up shooting for about two hours and was pretty happy with things. I had to have Gerald move my sight up just a hair to try and adjust for my upper right shooting. That was towards the end of the night but I got some other advice from him that had me shooting softball sized groups by the end of the night, so I was very happy with that. Now, if we can get me dialed in with regard to having my pins right on for broadheads and get my form down (relaxation does wonders!!!) I'll be good to go. The best thing of the night was when I found out that the shop is literally right across State from my new apartment. I'm ecstatic about that!!! *OOO* <<--O/ *-band-* That and I talked to Wendy and we do have the money for me to get a year pass to shoot there.... so being able to shoot pretty much any time I want, having that expertise from the guys at the shop so readily available, and the relaxation and "therapy" I get from shooting my bow is going to lead to a great winter and hopefully a successful hunt for deer and elk next year. I've also been told not to plan on eating that elk tag just yet.... so we'll see what happens over the next couple months. It was a great night..... Sorry I missed meeting some of you, but like I told Gerald last night... with me being right across the street, I plan on spending a lot of spare time over there. Gos and Smitty... I'm sure we'll hook up over there one of these days. :D

If I was still at the apartment with a huge side yard, I'd do that in a heartbeat... I'm just not sure if the archery place will let me shoot broadheads in there. I guess I forgot to ask. I agree with your theory though.... it sounds accurate and sensible to me. I plan on going just to shoot a lot.... just for shootings sake too though, so thats my big thing. I was told that my right hand drift was probably due to the broadheads I was using, the way they fit the arrows I shoot and possibly wind drift as well. I paper tuned my arrows and they are all in good shape with very little/no tear. So.... I have some things I need to get ironed out before a weeklong trip to Vernal next season.... Hopefully over the course of 10 months shooting as much as I can, it'll happen for me. Don't worry, I'll still be on here asking tons of questions getting as much input as possible.... I'll always be learning and won't ever know it all so any info I can get from all available sources will be helpful.
