Unit 8 Deer

Hey I'm new to the forum and to this unit. I was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers for the upcoming muzzleloader hunt. I know that there is a lot of people that hunt this unit and I would really enjoy some tips on how to avoid them. Thanks.

I've hunted elk in that area and know of some places that hold some good deer, but you'd have to be willing to hike a bit. By that I mean it's not anywhere you're going to be bringing a deer out whole. I've bow hunted and cow elk hunted during the muzzle loader hunt and have never ran into another hunter. So if you're the adventurous type shoot me a PM and I'd be more than happy to give you some starting points.
