Is there anyplace to duck hunt near Utah Lake. I do not have decoys and mainly pass shoot. I have been to Farmington Bay, but am looking for something closer.

There are no ducks on Utah Lake. I've been there several times this year, and they haven't moved in yet. At least not where I hunt.

Pass shooting is a rough deal on Utah Lake. I suppose if you got on your mallard call, sounded good and were in the area they wanted to be, you might get some pass shooting. Throwing out a few dekes certainly helps. Sure wish I was closer so I could rediscover some of my long lost honey holes.... :?
