Just curious as to how the waterfowlin' has been at Utah Lake this year. I have not had the chance to hunt there yet, but I will in the next few days. Any suggestions for where to make a good set? I will be taking a first timer and I want him to have a good time. Any info would help. Thanks in advance too. :D

I hunt mud lake 2/3X a week. We limit out most of the time. Mornings seem to be best so have your spread out when shooting begins and you'll bag 4 or 5 in the first few mins. The ducks quit flying around 10:15. Geese fly into and out of east bay reserve and the spanish fork fields between 8 and 9:30. If you have a boat and mud motor you'll knock em dead. If your on foot the camelot slew is a good place to hunt or you can walk out the Koonie slew. The south end of the Provo airport is also a good place if your on foot as well as the BLM access. I could give you the GPS coordinates to my honey holes but then I'd have to kill you. haha...enjoy
