Looks like garbage, do you think that thing will actually hide you from the ducks? Geez some people and their idea's. What's next a dog that points? :mrgreen:
After I quit laughing my butt off. :lol: :lol: :lol: I forgot one thing...my partner in crime came up with the orginal idea (Ray Carter). I made some modifications and such (butt atleast mine is done).
I don't know if you could afford me (Joke) :lol: . Heck...with my busy schedule this was a 2 year project. :wink:
On a serious note, here is the cost break down.
1/2 EMT and fastners ends = $15.00
Welding = free
clamps and hardware = $5.00
Rabbit screen = $10.00
Fast Grass = about $45.00 bought 4 pieces 5' X 5' (package) and modified to fit coffin.
Ty wire = $5.00 roll
Had to bleach the grass by sunlight = 3 to 4 months.
The hardest part was the bending process to fit what we needed. I have an extra set of frames all welded up. If someone wanted to view them, I would allow it. But I'm not going to sell them. Sorry
Bought the coffin at a Sportsmans Expo = $60.00 each, close out sale.
I have hunted out of coffins for years. They give you so many more options of where you can hunt. All of those places you wish had enough cover now have plenty. (even if it is none) Setting up a ground blind in these places just doesn't seem to get the job done. It is also nice to be able to hunt in a few inches of water. This year we are going to try a make a rig so we can hunt in up to a 1 1/2 feet of water. If it works I might post up my idea for all you coffin hunters out there. :wink:
