What do you use as it turns colder?

I'm fairly new to large mouth bass fishing but I do enjoy it. My question is, now that the weather is turning colder, are the top water baits still a good Idea. Most of my luck has been with these. If not what is a good alternative?

In my experience with bass fishing, fall offers some pretty fast fishing. Bass recognize the change in temp and it signals to them that it is time to forage! Break out the crankbaits and spinnerbaits! One of my favorite baits for fall is a hard plastic jerkbait. Honestly, just about anything will work... finding them is the tricky part. Cover as much water as possible and you will eventually find them.

Tight Lines!
