I''ll show you mine to start it off. This is a Grumman Sport Canoe with a Mudd Buddy blind installed by Mudd Buddy. Last year was the first year it was used. It is an awesome unit. It is invisable when tucked away in the marsh grass/cattails. The unit is propelled by a 6.5 hp Go Devil and can get me just about anywhere I need to get to.

This is a view from the motor end. I use the small 'U' shape frame/leg stools with a cushion to sit on which puts my eyes at blind height. The set up works like a charm for one or two people. Babe (the wonder dog), sits on a dog stand outside and to the rear of the front end of the boat for a clear view of the action.

I'll take some 'in use' shots this season and post later.

Now, it's your turn.

Nice looking boats guys.....

Can you answer a question for me does that 8.5 push that ok?
How many horsepower do you recommend for a 14 FT. about 38" wide.
Of course I would say it wont weigh that much but reality is they always do..

Thanks Spry

I had a 1436 with a 9 horse and it was OK. Got us there but not fast.

Then I had a 1436 with a 16 horse and I did great with 2 or 3 guys.

Did you mean the 6.5 on my GSC? If so, yes. We tried a 9 hp but it was too much weight AND hp for that boat. The 6.5 is a perfect match. It moves about 4 - 7 mph depending on the load, but it beats walking every time it's tried. :D

I can't show you mine,I lost it! I used a GPS to find it each time I set decoys. One morning I forgot my gloves,my hands were freezing from putting them out. I reached in my pocket to get my GPS. I couldn't feel it and it dropped into the water. and couldn't find my boat. I had left my dogs home so there my buddy and I stood stranded.I called my wife and told her where I was,she sent my chessie out to get us,he didn't even need a map!! I climed on his back and rode him oit of there,he then went and got my buddy. I saw elk22 on the way home and he talked to my dog(he talks to animals you know, mainly goats). Apparently my dog told him he knows where the boat is,but was upset I left him home and won't take me to it until the season starts again. Hopefully I can post pictures of it in a few weeks.
