I really like the DU and TU versions. The rest are kind of cheesy to me. RMEF isn't bad.

Utah is very basic in our plates. But the new plate is pretty cool.

There is the Idaho potato plate if you want something really great! 🤣

Critter- you posted the wrong version of the flag, the approved version is the 5 point star, not the 8 point (8 indigenous Native American tribes in Utah). I like the 8-point better.

This flag is a really good flag. I’m pleased with it.

I'm actually quite surprised at the backlash. I have never bought a state flag. I may pick up one of the new ones.

I think that the backlash comes from those who resist and don't like to change what they are comfortable with.

It cab be with their jobs, hobbies, life,and even a flag.

I like it well enough and I like how it came about. Having a generation of students who got to participate in such a civic project can only be positive. And having intentional & direct input from the tribes is a great step. All together I think its a project & process Utah can really be proud of.

No kidding. One of the reps that was on the commission and favored the new flag received "feedback" calling her a traitor from some "patriots" that didn't like the change. It seriously isn't that big of deal, especially with them continuing to use the old flag in many circumstances.

I think all the Utah plates are pretty lame. It's like whoever designs the Utah plates just finished Graphic Design 101. Our neighboring states put Utah to shame.

I really like the Pheasants Forever plate but I’m afraid the majority of us on this site really should be signing up for The Loon Society plate…

I like the newly mandated off-highway plates. Simple and brown.

I do not like that we have to have them on things like ATV'S but visually they look ok.

My only complaint was that I thought it was a waste of time and money, but seeing how simplistic and cartoonish it is it might save money in the long run in production costs. But not a big enough deal to agonize about.

Not sure, but I'm sure the cost of plates will be passed on to the consumer in some way. How could it not? We are the only source of revenue.
