Why do they do it?

How come so often when a buck has two brow tines one of them will curl forward a bit at the top?

I guess nobody else knows either. 65 views and not a single comment. I thought there were more wise A's on here than that. :)
That's the one that he uses to scratch himself with.

Guessing that maybe it is like a kalic like human hair on the head it grows a different direction maybe?

Or maybe when rubbing it forces it down (forward)?

Kind of like on that old bugs bunny cartoon where the guy stirs up the strong drink and the spoon comes out all rotted off and crooked???
