do you guys think that with a 20 mile an hour wind and 47 degree tempurture may break up the ice enough to take a boat out tomarrow or not??? just wondering where i am going to go hunt on my day off of work. thanks
There was about a 10mph wind today is all at Harold Crane and it actually opened up quite a bit of water. Also on my secluded pothole, once the sun came out it was probably about 35-40 degrees or so and the wind had died down but the ice was opening up a bit...47 degrees and 20 mph...just depends on where the closest open water is...like a running canal that dumps in or something. That's where it was most open at the Crane.
