Youth Waterfowl Question

Are there any areas near Salt Lake or Bountiful that are going to be open for the youth hunt that would not normally be open? I had heard that some of the duck clubs were letting kids hunt there on the youth hunt.

My 12 y.o. has a football game at 1:30-3:00. His need for sleep precludes us from going out in the morning, but we do plan to head out right after the game. Nevertheless, since shooting ends just after 7:00, there won't be able to go too far. I'm just hoping to give him a pretty good experience on his first hunt.

farmington is going to be your best bet. I have not heard any clubs let kids on there in less there dad or soem body is a member.

Most of the clubs of which I am aware are closed even to their own members on Youth Day. Those which are open are, to my knowledge, only open to members. I have heard FB can be very good after the crowds have left.
