Redmond Reservoir - Anyone fish it?

I haven't fished Redmond Reservoir for 4 years now but I see that the DWR has been putting in some crappie, bluegill, largemouth, and catfish the last few years. I think the stockings are more to feed the pike but there might be a few of them left to be caught.

Has anyone been over there recently? I'm getting desperate to dip my tube. :)

With all the snow we have on the ground I don't see ice-off coming anytime soon.:(

I used to fish it every winter from my tube in search for northern pike, but I haven't done it for a number of years. If you do try it, stick to the north western part of the lake because it is super shallow. In a tube, I found I was kicking up mud or touching bottom in a lot of areas around the lake.

The northwestern part and out parallel to the island is where I have done the best but I have never caught many fish there. The water is always so murky that it's hard to get their attention with a fly. I have found water up to 7' deep but most of it is in the 3'-5' range.
