I wonder if he's starting to realize people shaking his tree.

I'm still tripping out over $600 for a scouting trip. Even if he picked me up at my house, chauffeured my ass up the mountain, sat me 500 yards from some elk, and cooked up a steak lunch, it would still be too much money.

Of course my idea of a scouting trip costs me 38$ in gas, a pot of coffee, a granola cruncher style lunch, or a big burger combo or a freeze dried dinner if I stay out tell the next morning.

600 for a scouting trip really isn't that far out of line if you figure that he needs to be paid for all his time along with his vehicle plus whatever he provides.
